Патрик Оушен - 43-х летний двойник Элвиса Пресли из Брюсселя. Он является подражателем только образа, а песни исполняет собственные. На данный момент он входит в состав группы Runnin’ Wild в качестве вокалиста и гитариста. До этого, выступал в группах The Domino’s и The Million Dollar Sunrise.
В короткий срок Патрик написал и выпустил 6 альбомов, которые дают возможность слушателям окунуться в взрывоопасный коктейль рок-н-ролла из 50х годов. Поклонники данного стиля находят Патрика одним из самых талантливых современников.
Помимо создания и исполнения песен, бельгийский представитель является организатором ряда летних фестивалей в Бельгии, в которых принимаю участие артисты со всего мира. Также он основал классы, где знакомит детей и подростков с миром Рок-н-ролла и обучает их Истории музыки.
Патрик Оушен будет представлять Бельгию с песней под названием “Copycat” (музыка — Бенджамин Шоос, текст — Жак Дювалль). В этой песне Оушен говорит, что якобы он придумал рок-н-ролл и вдруг узнал, что есть другой человек, копирующий его стиль. И этот другой — Элвис Пресли. В мире могут существовать тысячи подражателей Элвиса Пресли, во многих странах проводятся соревнования двойников Короля рок-н-рола. Но один из этих имитаторов никогда не слышал и не видел оригинала. Он одевается, поет и живет как Элвис, не подозревая, что подражает кому-либо. А узнав об этом - обвиняет его в плагиате. В песне задаются несколько философских вопросов - как найти свое место в мире? Как остаться самим собой, стать оригиналом, а не копией?
Известно, что многие фанаты Элвиса Пресли негативно отзываются о тексте песни Оушена, на что он ответил следующее: “Это просто песня, никто не хотел оскорблять Элвиса и конечно же я не хотел сделать это, поскольку я большой поклонник Элвиса. Я думаю, что они просто не поняли подтекста песни, в которой, кстати, имя Элвиса ни разу не упоминается.”
Опыта выступления в Москве у Оушена достаточно. С группой “Runnin’ wild” он часто выступал с столице. Следующий визит в Москву планируется 2го мая.
“Я буду рад снова выступить в Москве, у меня там есть множество друзей. Я надеюсь, что все российские читатели этого интервью поймут нашу песню и нашу концепцию, которую мы подготовили для Евровидения, и конечно в Москве мы вместе с вами, друзья, выпьем водки.” - с таким позитивным настроем готовиться представитель Бельгии к поездке в Россию.

Рок энд ролл нравится не всем, мне - нет!!! нужно ставить на песню которая понравится всем, как например в этом году делает Россия или Украина. New Elvis это интерестно? Да. Может он победить? Нет.
