То, что белорусский конкурсант Петр Елфимов не попал в финал, стало неожиданностью для многих. В том числе и для него самого…
Еще до полуфинала белорусский певец говорил: “Творчество - дело неблагодарное, всем невозможно угодить и понравиться. Если найдется та часть европейского и российского слушателя, и если они посчитают нужным за меня проголосовать, я низко поклонюсь и скажу спасибо. Я живу и работаю ради того, чтобы мое творчество было востребовано. Если этого не происходит, артиста можно хоронить, а я еще жить хочу!”
Спасибо своему слушателю Петр так и не смог сказать, но и молчать тоже не стал. В то время как 10 финалистов отправилась на пресс-конференцию, Петр Елфимов и его директор тихо вышли из служебного выхода зала “Олимпийский” навстречу группе белорусских журналистов. Тут эмоции артиста и выплеснулись наружу.
В том, что Петр не вышел в финал, несмотря на безупречное выступление, он обвинил организаторов. Имел ли он новую систему голосования или что-то другое - неизвестно. После этого он добавил: “Пел я ох…но! Так и напишите. Дай бог всем в нашей стране так петь!” Директор музыканта, растроганная провалом подопечного, сообщила, что проблема в журналистах, т.к. они глупые. Данные слова можно оправдать эмоциями знаменитостей в тот момент. Конечно, выступление Елфимова не была лучшей, сравнивая с 10-кой финалистов, но и худшей ее не назовешь.
Артист высказал свое недовольство и в адрес белорусской делегации, которая (не только по его мнению) недостаточно ответственно подошла к подготовке его выступления: “Мне очень хотелось бы, чтобы Александр Григорьевич Лукашенко задал вопросы: куда же ушли деньги на подготовку белорусского исполнителя и чем белорусская делегация здесь занималась? ”
Чуть позже глава белорусской делегации извинился за поведение звезды. “”Голосовых связок, крыльев - мало, чтобы пройти в финал. Нужно суметь влюбить в себя зрителя”, - прокомментировал провал он.
