Одним скандалом, касающегося «Евровидения 2009», стало меньше. Продюсер и супруг певицы Валерии передумал и не стал устраивать скандал спустя несколько дней после отборочного тура. Напомним, что совсем недавно Иосиф Пригожин требовал пересмотра результатов конкурса, т.к. результаты (по его словам) были сфабрикованы…
После финала российского отбора Иосиф Пригожин заявил, что накануне голосования его уговаривали 2 человека снять кандидатуру Валерии. После конкурса он остался в недоумении “почему девушка, которая не попала в число 15 финалистов на отборочном туре на “Евровидение” на Украине, почему-то побеждает в российском конкурсе”. “Притом, что она была в низкорейтинговой “Фабрике”, она не является модной певицей”, -говорил он. Также Иосиф возмущался по поводу языка, на котором была исполнена песня Приходько: “Надо сделать новые выборы и отправить на Евровидение другого человека, потому что песня, исполненная на украинском языке, ничего общего с Россией не имеет!”
Телезрители уже были настроены на рассказ о том, как именно муж Валерии собирается добиться пересмотра итогов голосования отборочного тура, но вместо этого он заявил, что борьбы не будет. «Я снимаю все претензии и возлагаю всю ответственность теперь на плечи той маленькой девочки, которая так рьяно хочет представлять Россию» - прокомментировал свое новое решение Пригожин.
Продюсер признался в своих сожалениях о попытках продвинуть жену на Евровидение. Он предполагал , что может получится как с Патрисией Каас (во Франции, из уважения к заслугам, ее выдвинули на песенный конкурс без всякого отбора). Но в нашей стране зарубежный опыт не сработал. Теперь Иосиф понимает, что его старания попасть на «Евровидение» были ошибкой.
«Я считаю, что Приходько, может быть, и обладает каким-то даром, но она является пока еще сырым материалом» - в заключение отметил продюсер.
Иосиф не единственный, кто считает выбор Анастасии в качестве представительницы России неправильным.
Яна Рудковская о несправедливости результатов отбора Приходько сказала следующее: «Я думаю, что это ошибка. Потому что Настя, мне кажется, могла бы просто добить свой вопрос и добить ситуацию на Украине. Потому что мне кажется, что Россию в этом году нужно было представлять чисто русской женщине – Валерии, может быть, Полине Гриффитс…».
Не только деятели шоу-бизнеса сходятся в таком мнении, депутаты Государственной Думы также обсудили это событие. «Дело даже не в том, что она гражданка другого государства, хотя сам по себе этот факт уже вызывает негодование среди наших избирателей, а дело в том, что она известна своими крайне правыми националистическими взглядами, о чем она не раз сама заявляла в СМИ» - сказал руководитель фракции ЛДПР Игорь Лебедев.
