11 мая зрители увидят киноленту о “Евровидении”. В нем рассказывается о том, как Москва готовится к фестивалю, какие масштабные работы проводились в спорткомплексе «Олимпийский», как монтировалась сцена, и устанавливалось уникальное компьютерное и световое оборудование…
В фильме также раскрывается много интересных секретов, например, как рождалась эмблема фестиваля, как происходит выбор песни, как готовится номер, какие препятствия возникают на пути к победе. Организаторы постарались раскрыть некоторые, неизвестные зрителям, подробности подготовки к шоу.
До 1994 г. в нашей стране практически ничего не было известно об конкурсе “Евровидения”. Мало кто помнит, что первой российской участницей еврофеста стала певица Мария Кац, выступавшая под псевдонимом Юдифь. Она заняла 9 место и на протяжении шести лет ее результат улучшить никому из россиян не удавалось. Даже отечественные супер-звезды - Алла Пугачева и Филипп Киркоров- заняли места во втором десятке.
Успех на Евровидении пришел к России лишь в 2000 году. На конкурс от России поехала молодая певица Алсу, и, к удивлению многих, заняла второе место. Алсу стала первой отечественной исполнительницей, которая поехала на конкурс с песней на английском языке. В 2003-м Тату привезли третье место, хотя считались фаворитами конкурса. В 2006м году Дима Билан максимально приблизился к победе, но занять верхнюю строчку с первого раза ему так и не удалось.
В фильме участвуют такие звезды как : Анастасия Приходько, Патрисия Каас, Дима Билан, Яна Рудковская, Алсу, Андрей Малахов, Мария Кац, Николай Басков, Евгений Плющенко, Леонид Овруцкий (солист группы “Кватро”), Константин Эрнст (Генеральный директор ОАО “Первый канал”, Сванте Стокселиус (генеральный продюсер песенного конкурса “Евровидение”), Олег Вольнов (заместитель генерального директора ОАО “Первый канал”), Юрий Аксюта (директор музыкального вещания ОАО “Первый канал”, исполнительный продюсер песенного конкурса “Евровидение”), Рурд Биерман (председатель рабочей группы песенного конкурса “Евровидение”).
