В этом году Франция не решилась предоставить шанс талантливым новичкам, а сделала выбор в пользу уже популярного и опытного исполнителя. На 54-м песенном конкурсе честь страны будет защищать легенда французской эстрады - Патрисия Каас…
Сама певица прокомментировала свое участие на «Евровидении 2009» следующими словами: «Сначала я не хотела принимать участие в конкурсе – все-таки он в основном для дебютантов. Но потом решила: я буду защищать свою страну! За рубежом этот конкурс имеет огромную важность.»
По мнению французов, Патрисия Каас имеет все шансы победить на конкурсе, т.к. пользуется огромной популярностью в странах Восточной Европы, а эти страны - наиболее активные участники голосования. Напомним, что до 1977 года таланты Франции пять раз становились лауреатами «Евровидения». Будем надеяться, что в этом году Патрисия нарушит столь долгое затишье.
Французская прима будет выступать на «Евровидении» в рамках своего европейского тура в поддержку нового альбома «Kabaret». В ходе этих гастролей певица даст несколько концертов в России.
«Да, песня для конкурса уже готова, она с нового диска «Кабаре» и называется «Et s’il fallait le faire», - рассказала Каас.
Каковы шансы Патрисии Каас пополнить свою коллекцию наград гран-при “Евровидения”, пока сказать сложно. Однако с уверенностью можно утверждать, что при любых обстоятельствах ее выступление будет беспроигрышным, и зрители получат настоящее удовольствие.
