Сакис Рувас во второй раз будет представлять Грецию на «Евровидении» в надежде повторить достижения своей соотечественницы Елены Папаризу и Димы Билана. Оба этих исполнителя сумели выиграть “Евровидение” не с первой попытки…
Греция первой определилась с именем исполнителя, который представит страну на европейском конкурсе. Греческий красавчик Сакис Рувас, которому 36 лет, уже представлял Грецию на “Евровидении-2004″ и занял третье место с песней “Shake It”.
Артист, который родом из Корфу, исполняет свои песни как на греческом, так и на кипрском языках. За 17 лет музыкальной карьеры количество проданных альбомов греческого певца превысило два миллиона.
В 2006 году вместе с Марией Менунос он был ведущим “Евровидения” в Афинах. Как отмечает греческая пресса, Рувас намерен пойти по “проторенной дорожке” своей соотечественницы Елены Папаризу и Димы Билана - оба этих исполнителя сумели выиграть “Евровидение” со второй попытки.
Сакис Рувас за свои творческие годы также пробовал себя в качестве композитора, актера и даже модели. Как певец пел не только попсу, но и лайку, дэнс, соул.
