В то время, как конкурсу песни “Евровидение” в этом году исполнится 54 года, Россия участвует в нем только 14й раз. Несмотря на то, что сейчас держава занимает высокие места, выступления первых участников были что называется “комом” в пути к победе. Предлагаем краткую историю российского исполнителя на международном шоу…
1994 год. Самая первая песня России на Евровидении.
Руководители Российского телевидения впервые решили принять участие в популярном ежегодном телевизионном шоу. Это был первый и последний открытый национальный отборочный конкурс, в котором все артисты и авторы могли принять участие на равных условиях. Молодая певица Мария Кац (Юдифь) и Лев Землинский как автор песни выиграли это состязание.
Согласно принятым на то время правилам, песня исполнялась под аккомпанемент большого оркестра ирландского телевидения и радио. У каждого участника было только две репетиции с оркестром, примерно по 40 минут каждая. Ситуация была непростая, учитывая тот факт, что российские участники не могли послушать оркестровую аранжировку (сделанную автором) до прибытия в Дублин. Причина проста, - российский отборочный конкурс проводился под “минусовые” фонограммы. А в большинстве остальных стран использовали живые оркестры, и авторы могли по крайней мере проверить аранжировки своих песен.
Тем не менее, российская песня пользовалась определенным успехом и принесла в конечном итоге российским участникам 9-е место. И это еще не все. Компакт-диск “Вечный странник” был распродан в Великобритании после конкурса. А в 1999 году по итогам голосования публики в Великобритании песня “Вечный странник” вошла в “десятку лучших песен за всю историю конкурса”.
1995 год. “И навек забудь, вулкан, чем грозил былым векам…”
В 1995 г. во время предварительных смотрин кандидатов на поездку голоса членов отборочной комиссии разделились поровну. Часть была за Викторию Витта, другая отдавала предпочтение Оксане Павловской. Имена обеих участниц ничего не говорили широкой публике, видимо, поэтому в Европу отправили не участвовавшего в предварительном туре Филиппа Киркорова с пафосной песней «Колыбельная вулкану». «Спи, угрюмый великан, спи, недремлющий вулкан, отрекись от войны, мира дай и тишины», — пытался убаюкать европейскую публику словами Ильи Резника черноокий красавец, оказавшийся в результате голосования лишь 17-м.
Недавно певец отметил, что «наметилась отличная тенденция, когда победителями “Евровидения” становятся братья-славяне». «Например, когда в 1995 году я выходил на сцену “Евровидения”, Россия была в одиночестве, и у нас не было шансов подняться выше десятого места. Теперь же Россия полностью окружена странами бывшего СССР, которые поддерживают ее.», — сказал он.
1996 год - Россия вне Евровидения
Победителя финала (Андрея Косинского) выбирало жюри, состоящее из “экспертов”, одним из которых была Алла Пугачева. К сожалению в этом году был проведен дополнительный отбор, т.к. 30 стран претендовали на участие в конкурсе, а поехать в Осло могли только представители 23 стран. 21-22 марта состоялась, так называемая, пре-селекция, на которой песня “Я, это я” заняла всего лишь 26 место, что означало, что Россия не будет принимать участие в Осло.
1997 год - “Примадонна” на сцене Евровидения!
В 1997 году опять очередь ОРТ выбирать песню и опять они решили не организовывать национальный финал и послали саму диву-примадонну королеву российской эстрады Аллу Пугачеву, с песней, которую она написала сама. Это была действительно хорошая песня, заслужившая симпатии европейской публики (но не европейских жюри, к сожалению). Алла Борисовна отлично спела, также браво прекрасному бэк-вокалу, это было отличное и очень профессиональное выступление, Пугачева показала пример Европе “как выступают настоящие артисты” (и живое выступление было гораздо лучше, чем студио-версия песни), в отличие от многих она абсолютно не нервничала (или умело это скрывала). Алла Борисовна набрала в итоге 33 очка и заняла 15-е место.
