Победив в национальном отборе, Джейд впервые за всю историю участия Великобритании в конкурсе «Евровидение» отправилась в промо-тур. Она уже представила свою конкурсную песню в прямом эфире 8 марта, а теперь снялась в клипе “It’s my time”…
После выступления в Москве девушка рассказала, что была очень впечатлена дружелюбием аудитории. Также ей очень понравилась сама столица.
К сожалению, во время промо-тура певицу сопровождает только персонал менеджмента. “У меня есть сестра, но к сожалению, она не смогла приехать со мной в Россию, потому что нужно оформлять отдельную визу, но надеюсь, что в следующий раз все получится. - говорит Джейд. - А что касается близких людей, поскольку мои родители слепые, мне очень трудно привозить их с собой, а все друзья работают, поэтому мало кто может присоединиться.”
Несмотря на слухи, что якобы конкурс “Евровидение” не очень популярен в Европе, во время путешествия девушка заметила, что этот конкурс является важной составляющей европейских стран. “Что касается меня лично, я бы не смогла стать международной звездой без «Евровидения», для меня это хороший шаг в карьере.” - говорит певица.
Сейчас британская представительница занята созданием своего сценического образа, в котором предстанет перед аудиторией международного конкурса. “Мы сейчас с Ллойд Веббером обсуждаем это. Есть несколько идей, но это пока секрет.” Зато клип на песню “It’s my time” все могут просмотреть уже сегодня.
О своих шансах и конкурентах британка говорит следующее: “Я думаю, что в этот раз у нашей страны более серьезные шансы на победу, потому что сер Ендрю Ллойд Веббер написал песню и мы очень тщательно к этому готовимся. А что касается других стран, видно, что они очень серьезно относятся к этому.”
Джейд подписала контракт с Universal Music. И, если она выиграет, то это существенно облегчит ей старт второго сингла. “Но если я не выиграю, все равно запишу второй сингл и буду дальше заниматься карьерой.” - с позитивным настроем отвечает певица.
