Для того, что бы принять участие в отборе представителя России достаточно переключиться на Первый канал 7 марта в 20.00, выбрать достойнейшего и отправить sms…
Отбор участника будет проходить следующим образом: вначале из всех песен выберут 50 наиболее соответствующих. Далее Экспертный совет российского телевидения отберет 15 исполнителей с композициями для финала. После этого, совет будет просто придерживаться правил, действующих на «Евровидении»: после выступления претендентов голоса жюри и телезрителей суммируются, и, набравший больше всего очков, исполнитель представит страну в СК Олимпийском 16го мая.
Имя победителя нац-отбора обещают объявить в тот же день после программы «Прожекторперисхилтон» на Первом канале.
В качестве гостей на шоу приглашены звезды, которые уже представляли Россию на еврофесте: Дима Билан, Юлия Савичева, Мария Кац, «Премьер-министр», Алсу, «Серебро» и Наталья Подольская.
