8го числа всемирно известная звезда Патрисия Каас прилетела в Москву, а на следующий день провела свою первую репетицию. Патрисия Каас: “Я рада снова оказаться в России. Моя песня - о любви, и надеюсь, что когда я выйду на сцену, зрители… меня поддержат. Я рассчитываю победить, как и любой конкурсант, ведь со мной мой талисман - моя собачка Текилла”.
Мероприятия, связанные с “Евровидением 2009″ уже начались. Только за прошлую неделю в Россию приехали почти 700 участников и гостей Евровидения. Дорогу к месту проведения конкурса им указывает от самого аэропорта специальная разметка на столичных дорогах.
На репетиции француженка исполнила песню Fallait Le Faire S’Il без поддержки бэк-вокала. Но ее обаяние, жесты и мимика создали действительно удивительную атмосферу. По мнению певицы, французская песня ассоциируется с «романтикой, волнением, эмоциями. А не рок-музыкой». Поэтому ее песня именно такая.
На пресс-конференции все журналисты приветствовали Каас стоя. Певица рассказала о том , что решение участвовать в “Евровидении” далось ей непросто: «16 мая ровно 20 лет назад умерла моя мама и я на протяжении этих лет не давала в этот день никаких концертов и интервью. Но обстоятельства складывались так, что я решила принять участие в конкрусе в этом году». Помимо этого, она сообщила, что ее решение принять в конкурсе никак не связано с изменением правил – когда решение будет зависеть наполовину от профессионального жюри.
Патрисия сообщила, что не планирует исполнять песни на английском и, тем более, выпускать англоязычный диск: «у меня есть песни на немецком языке, так как я выросла на границу с Германией и это был мой первый язык. Но я пою на французском и не хочу меняться». По ее словам, именно французские композиции сделали ее всемирно известной.

Patricia Kaas - звезда с мировым именем. Я не думаю, что ей стоило участвовать в Евровидении. Изменились времена, изменилась музыка. Как бы не повторилась с ней история А.Пугачевой, случившаяся в 1997 году, когда легендарная певица заняла 15 место, и все потому, что не хотела считаться с простой истиной, что в одну реку дважды не входят, и то, от чего все восторгались в далеком 1978, через 20 лет почти никого не затронет.

Я с тобой не согласна… Да Анастасия Приходько обладательница прекрасного голоса, Константин Меладзе написал чудесную песню… Но Евровидение в первую очередь конкурс шоу, а я не представляю какое шоу можно сделать под песню “Мамо”…
