9 мая началось в Олимпийском с неожиданного визита Председателя правительства Российской Федерации Владимира Путина. В это же время на сцене спорткомплекса проходила репетиция азербайджанского дуэта Араша и Айсель. Позже Араш признался, что так растерялся при виде Владимира Владимировича, что поприветствовал его не иначе как “Здравствуйте, Мистер Президент”…
Сначала премьер решил проверить условия, созданные для работы журналистов, и зашел в пресс-центр, который рассчитан на 500 рабочих мест. Всего на конкурсе аккредитовано более 2,5 тысячи журналистов.
Когда Владимир Путин направился к выходу из пресс-центра, мониторы начали подсказывать иностранным журналистам, как правильно по-русски спросить “Где я?” По иронии именно этот вопрос в тот момент многим показался актуальным. Сработал эффект неожиданности.
Рол Йеческель, журналист, Израиль: “Я сразу не сориентировался. Что-то писал, потом застыл в оцепенении, пока не сообразил, что прямо передо мной, действительно, стоит сам Путин”.
Питер Дивайн, журналист, Великобритания: “Это был шок. Я, конечно, не ожидал, что Владимир Путин пойдет через пресс-центр. Но это было красиво! Тем более, тут есть чем гордиться, тут действительно всe на высоте”.
Петр Блам, оператор, Голландия: “Когда Путин появился, я не знал за что схватиться вперед. Схватился за камеру, но не успел надеть ботинки. Так без ботинок, босиком на бегу и пытался зафиксировать момент. Со стороны, наверное, это выглядело смешно. Но ведь не каждый же день поднимаешь глаза и видишь перед собой Путина”.
Затем Владимир Владимирович посетил зал для пресс-конференций, где журналисты готовились к очередному мероприятию. Здесь премьер, привыкший отвечать на вопросы, оказался в непривычном для себя амплуа - ему предложили самому задать вопрос журналистам. Путин спросил, довольны ли они созданными условиями для работы, и получил в ответ громкое “да”.
Экскурсия по “Олимпийскому” проходила в сопровождении гендиректора Первого канала. Первый канал не просто организовал “Евровидение” в этом году, но и приготовил множество сюрпризов. Например, зрителям будет казаться, что однажды на них сверху польется вода, но выйдут все из зала сухими.
Если ближе присмотреться в таблице Менделеева в стенах Олимпийского, то можно увидеть а сокращенные названия стран. По таблице можно определить какая из стран, с какого года принимает участие в конкурсе и сколько на ее счету побед.
В завершении Путин осмотрел передвижную телевизионную студию, которая отвечает за “картинку”, которую увидят зрители всей Европы. Этот комплекс является самым мощным и высокотехнологичным в Европе. По словам организаторов, он был специально создан для пекинской Олимпиады. Эрнст отметил, что оборудование отвечает всем требованиям телевидения высокой четкости.
Организаторы утверждают, что “Евровидение” станет самым грандиозным телевизионным шоу в закрытом пространстве, а Владимир Владимирович остался долен увиденным и покинул «Олимпийский» в хорошем настроении.
