Не смотря на то, что ещё в 2006 году Хадисе заявила, что никогда не примет участие в Евровидении, после того как её подруга Кейт Риан, представляющая Бельгию на этом конкурсе в 2006 году не смогла пробиться в финал, Хадисе всё же выразила желание представлять Турцию… на Евровидении 2009. 24 октября 2008 года генеральный директор TRT Ибрахим Сахим подтвердил участие Хадисе в конкурсе. Девушка заявила бельгийским газетам, что хочет представить Турцию, а не Бельгию, потому что уже выиграла много бельгийских наград и к тому же конкурс в Турции более популярен.
Хадисе сама контролировала производство песни для конкурса. Она имела право выбрать стиль, музыку, стихи и язык будующей композиции.
31 декабря 2008 года прошла презентация песни с которой Хадисе будет представлять Турцию на конкурсе Евровидение 2009. Это песня Crazy For You или Düm Tek Tek.
Композитором песни является Синан Акчил. Слова песни написаны на английском языке, но припев и сама стилистика композиции, безусловно, в национальном турецком стиле.
23-летняя певица , которую называют “турецкой Бейонсе”, родилась и живет в Бельгии. Ее зажигательные песни в последнее время стремительно штурмуют европейские и турецкие хит-парады.
Получающая маркетинговое образование в Хасселте и говорящая на пяти языках Хадисе большую часть свободного времени уделяет музыке, пишет музыку, стихи, проводит время в студии и готовится к концертам. Её работа во многом уникальна, потому что она соединяет R&B и турецкий поп. Чтобы оставаться в форме занимается гимнастикой, любит проводить время с друзьями и семьей.
Выбор Хадисе в качестве представителя Турции на Евровидении 2009 был очень протеворечиво встречен другими деятелями музыки страны. Хадисе не раз критиковали за её сексуальный образ и одежду.Жёсткой критике на территории Турции подверглось видео на песню «Deli oğlan». Сцены, в которых Хадисе участвовала вместе с манекенщиком, турецкие СМИ посчитали эротическими. Наиболее пикантные моменты были вырезаны.

Вместо того чтобы вести агитацию на армян.На какой сайт не залезу везде хвалят этих армянских сестер.Мало того,что воруют еду,музыку,танцы,ещё и косички наши своровали.С каких пор армяне косички длинные стали носить.А слово Джан.Это же чисто азери слово.И вы все прекрасно знаете,чтооно значит.Зато сёстры по каналу ТНТ прокричали,что это их слово и обозначили его как идиома.Вместо того чтоб друг друга ругать,давайте сплотимся,как это делают они.Они выигрывают благодаря нашей музыке.
